The challenge
Atlas needed a global launch film for their first electric flagship, with three territories to represent and a fixed air date eleven days after the first call sheet. The car itself was near-silent, which removed the engine note that automotive advertising normally leans on.
The idea
We made silence the subject. Rather than fight the absence of engine noise, the film builds its soundtrack from everything a combustion car drowns out — tyre noise on wet tarmac, wind through a mountain pass, a held breath before the road opens up.
Production
Three units ran in parallel across Norway, Portugal and Iceland, sharing one director of photography who moved between them and a single colour pipeline so the grade stayed consistent. Location sound was recorded properly on every unit rather than replaced later, because the whole film depended on it.
The result
Delivered two days before the air date, in twelve language versions and six aspect ratios from cinema through to vertical social.
